Mindfulness And Meditation Training
The Game Changer You Have Been Waiting For!
Mindfulness and meditation training can be one of the most rewarding and life-altering gifts you could ever give yourself.
The problem:
Many of us live our lives stuck in certain patterns of behavior or ways of thinking. The reality is that we become conditioned by our past, our environment, social media, the list goes on. These external influences become unconscious habits, beliefs and patterns of behavior.
Think of it as living life in a state of auto-pilot, unconscious and unaware.
Because of the information overload our espresso-era demands, our brains have developed a coping mechanism.
This coping mechanism is the creation of habits. Habits allow us to continue about our days without becoming overwhelmed by the significant amount of information and stimuli we are exposed to on a second-to-second basis.
Whilst the creation of habits and unconscious patterns of behavior is vital to our everyday lives, it has also caused us to effectively ‘tune-out’.
We have developed the ability to become desensitized, disconnected and often blind to exactly how we are showing up in the world.
The solution:
When we become more mindful, we learn how to become switched on.
We develop the ability to return to the present moment, without judgment. We allow ourselves to get back into the driver’s seat. We become conscious participants in our lives, aware of and in control of our actions, thoughts, emotions, and behavior.
In conclusion:
The practice of mindfulness is about taking back ones power.
It is about becoming more present, conscious and aware on a moment-to-moment basis, without allowing judgements, preconceived perceptions, limitations and beliefs to taint ones interpretation and experience of the present moment.
There are so many incredible benefits one can receive by incorporating the principals and practice of mindfulness into everyday life, the ones listed below are only a select few.
-
Mental clarity
-
Reduce stress and anxiety
-
Improved relationships
-
Lower stress
-
Better concentration
-
Increased creativity and productivity
How Mindfulness Training Works:
Over a period of 6-8 weeks, we begin to implement certain mindfulness practices which are designed to create triggers to bring you back to the present moment. We identify and explore some the unconscious thought patterns and limiting beliefs which are holding you back from realizing your highest potential.
Some of what is learned:
- How to develop present moment awareness
- How to dissect thought and behavior patterns to get to the core of what is playing out for us
- How to identify our self-sabotage strategies
- How to reclaim our power
- We learn to make conscious decisions and to take conscious actions towards attaining goals, dreams, and desires
What exactly is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is the practice of being fully present to the moment without attachment or judgment. It is the practice of retraining the mind to focus on that which we choose to focus upon.
Thus when one demonstrates mindfulness, you are more fully aware of your thoughts, emotions, and actions, but equally, you don’t get caught up in them.
Meditation Training
Learn how to meditate. Connect with stillness, calm and the infinite well of wisdom, inspiration, and love within!
Meditation is a practice whereby an individual uses techniques – such as mindfulness or focusing the mind on a particular object, thought or activity – to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state.
With practice, we are able to come into a state of complete stillness within. We become adept at quietening the mind so that we are better able to access our inner sanctuary which houses the gift of our limitless self. The more time we spend in this space, this inner sanctum of peace and tranquility, of wisdom, intuition and inspiration, the stronger our connection to it and the easier it becomes for us to think, act and behave in accordance with this true self.
How meditation training works:
Learning to meditate is like learning any other skill.
Just like when you first learned to read or write, it takes consistent practice to get comfortable. In the beginning, it is easier if you have a teacher as this ensures commitment and dedication to the practice.
In each session you will be expertly guided through various visualizations, meditations and exercises to assist you in connecting with and experiencing this peaceful inner sanctum.
You will be taught various exercises and techniques which you can practice on your own, to aid you in developing and maintain your own personal meditation practice.
