The biggest challenges most often faced by yogi’s when it comes to learning and achieving arm balances is first and foremost the mind (overcoming our fear of falling).
The second great challenge facing beginners is insufficient time in a regular class to learn the necessary steps, movements and engagement of muscles to achieve the balance.
This can be very frustrating and perhaps even results in feeling “stuck” in your yoga journey progress. Don’t worry, that’s what this workshop series in for!
Over the next few months, Yoga Motive will be offering a series of workshops to help you progress with your arm balances.
In part 1 of the series, a 4-hour beginners arm balance workshop, we will work on the correct preparation needed for arm balance postures, including how to warm up the body, improve flexibility and how to build the fundamental strength needed for arm balances.

What to expect:

– Step by step instruction for each of the featured poses (part 1)
